Wednesday WORKOUT:
None. Yep. I hate writing that because it feels embarrassing, but it’s the truth. I was going to run home after work but I feel like my knee is finally making progress so I decided to hold off on the run. I spent some quality time with the stick roller. Oh and I made some quinoa burgers for dinner.
6 Places
This was not an easy list to make! There are so many places I want to see!
1. Italy
Kyle and I loved Italy and there are so many other places we wished we could have seen.
2. France
See #1.
3. Greece
Ever since I saw the Summer 2004 Olympics I have wanted to go to Greece. Actually, add to that- ever since I saw the movie, Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, I wanted to go.
4. Australia
I love kangaroos and koalas. Obvious choice. Okay so there are other reasons but those are the only 2 that popped into my head.
5. The UK
Loved England and I’ve always wanted to go to Scotland. Ever since my friend in elementary school went, I have wanted to go. Her pictures were amazing- all the beautiful mountains and castles!
6. The US
There are so many places that I haven’t seen in my own country! Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, Canyonlands, Crater Lake, Zion, etc. And big cities- Boston (went when I was little and don’t remember a thing), Portland, Charleston, the Hamptons, Chicago, DC, etc. I better make lots of money…
Where would you like to visit?
Don’t be embarrassed about not working out. Be proud to be smart. I am sitting here with a stiff Achilles and I so want to go running but I think it is smarter to just take it easy. It is so much easier to play it dumb and do what your body doesn’t want. Isn’t it amazing how incredible the United States are? I feel like there are so many beautiful places I have been missing out on.
You’re so right! Sorry your Achilles is still being a punk! I know right- so many places right in our own country!!
You totally missed Canada from your list *shake my finger at you* (kidding).
I want to go to Rio de janeiro, New Zealand and I want to hike in Yosemite and Mt. Kilimanjaro . Small list but those are my top pics!
I haven’t worked out in a few days, other than a 2k run to shake out my legs. Rest is good sometimes 🙂
LOL Canada is totally on my complete list! I’ve only been to Quebec but I LOVE it and want to explore more. So beautiful there!
LOVE the places on your list!!
Well, anytime you want to come to Nova Scotia – just let me know! I’ll hook you up 🙂
Oh I will 🙂
My big ones that I really want to see: Antarctica, Cambodia, Argentina, Iceland. Tons of others, too, but those are the ones I have my eye on for my next epic trip.
OMG that is one epic trip!! All those places sound amazing!
I want to go pretty much everywhere in Europe for starters. As many places as I can get to in my lifetime really but I’d probably start with Europe. If you ever want to share that Quinoa burger recipe I wouldn’t complain 😉
EUROPE is AMAZING!! I want to go back and explore some more!
^^Agreed on wanting the quinoa burger recipe!
and smart decision on giving the knee more time to heal!
I like kangaroos and koalas too..probably because they start with K. Did I tell you that I collected kangaroos when I was younger, and right now there are 2 large garbage bags filled with stuffed kangaroos in my basement at home? freeeeak.
LOL love your reason!! HAHA that’s okay I used to collect Beanie Babies and I have a few of those bags too 😉
I want to go everywhere!!!! But my tops are Paris, Italy, and Greece!
OMG all are amazing!!! I can’t speak from experience about Greece but that’s on my list too 🙂
I would like to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. I’d like to walk the Camino trail across Spain.
I forgot about Machu Picchu on my list!!
posted my list — i’m with you on Greece (Santorini), and the Amalfi Coast in Italy!
AHHHH both on my list 🙂
Let’s go to Scotland!! We can hang out at my castle!!
No for serious though I need to go to Scotland because my family is Scottish and I am related to the Clan MacLeod who has a castle there. I am OBSESSED with visiting it.

I know right?! So many things in our own backyard 🙂
The Grand Canyon, Washington DC, Japan, Italy, France, England, Australia (not too crazy about the flight though).
I’d love to go to Greece too! I want to go to all the places actually. Scotland is pretty awesome! Edinburgh looks grey and brown in photos, but it is beautiful in person!!!!!!
Ooooo Edinburgh!!!
New Zealand! That is my dream vacation. Although I get to go to Italy this summer for my honeymoon!
If you’re going to be in Scotland and England you might as well hop over to Ireland. You will never visit anywhere as green in your life.
WHAT???? OMG you’re going to have so much fun!!! YES Ireland is on my list too 🙂
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants also made me want to go to Greece! That, and Mamma Mia.
I would love to travel to California. I really can’t believe I have never been to the state. One of my dream vacations is to start in NorCal and spend a couple of week working my way down to SoCal.
OMG come on over 🙂
Those quinoa burgers look delicious! I definitely want to visit Greece. That one is on the top of my list!
