Day 9 (counting down) of the 10 Day You Challenge! You can see my 10 secrets here 🙂
Feel free to join in and link back so we can read your secrets and loves ❤
My first (and last) boyfriend. The guy who lets me be dorky, silly, crazy, cranky, and all of the above. He grounds me, makes me happy, and I don’t feel whole without him. Seriously, I get grumpy when I don’t see him. Ask my family. He’s my lobster.
2. My family
I have the best family. Of course I thought my parents were idiots and my sister was the most annoying thing in the world when I was an obnoxious teenager. But as I grew up and out of my “idiot phase” I’ve realized how lucky I am. Thanks for putting up with the most annoying person (aka teenager) in the world during those years, family.
3. My pets: Snickers, Sienna, Skyler
Snickers (aka sick kitty) has been my buddy since elementary school. She keeps me company when I’m sick, or basically any time I’m laying down. We played fetch together (yep), I cleaned up after she weaved an entire ball of yarn through the whole house, we showered together (her choice), and now that she’s sick I heat up her food when I feed her because she prefers it.
Sienna is my big, clumsy, expressive, lovable buddy. She talks to me when she’s hungry, she goes with me on walks and some runs, we cuddle after my workouts, she lays in the bathroom when I shower, she eats garbage and lets me pick up the mess, and she’s always willing to help me clean the kitty litter boxes by eating some of the “snacks” in there…
Skyler is my baby that I adopted in high school. She’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, but she’s adorable in every way. She attacks her tail, gets locked into rooms when the door isn’t actually shut, pounces on top of me when I’m sleeping, jumps and puts her front paws on me when she wants to be pet, and tries to open a new bag of cat or dog food as soon as we bring it home from the store.
4. My friends.
I don’t have too many close friends, but the ones I do have are the best. I much prefer quality over quantity. And this is depressing because I don’t have many (group) photos with my friends. This needs to change cause photos with 2 friends is not enough.
It’s how I relieve stress, show someone I care, and have fun.
And let me clarify- I hate the actual travel part (driving, planes, etc.). I like the exploring the destination part.
Never thought I would say that. Running the mile in PE was the worst day of the year. And now I choose to run 13.1 miles for fun.
8. Hiking and exploring the outdoors
When snakes and lizards aren’t involved.
You don’t name your blog, Fitness Meets Frosting, without loving dessert. Favorites: frozen yogurt, angel food cake, non-chocolate cake in general WITH frosting, candy (sweet and sour gummy things), Snickerdoodles, etc. I could go on for a whole page.
Tell me someone/something you love 🙂
