Woke up on Monday feeling the same way as I did on Sunday (bad sinus issues including but not limited to dizziness, nausea, headaches). But I still went to work cause I’m stubborn like that. My boss told me to go home at lunch haha.
Luckily Monday was my rest day. I like how I can be in a ton of pain, but all I’m thinking about is if I need to rearrange my running/workout schedule.
I ended up feeling better around dinner time so I cooked brinner (breakfast for dinner) for/with Kyle. I was in a grumpy mood when Kyle came home. He got me out of it, but here was my “I’m pretending I’m still grumpy but I’m not really grumpy face.” Who wants to play poker with me?
I mean, you can’t really be grumpy when
a) you’re surrounded by dogs who shower you with affection
b) when your boyfriend laughs and makes you go and change into one of his shirts because you spilled egg all over yours and decided the best way to fix that situation was to run the entire front of your shirt under water (grumpy Amy’s decision, not mine).
Gluten-free quiche (using shredded potatoes as the crust), popovers, and asparagus.
Sometimes you just need to say screw the healthy crap and gimme the comfort food.
As of last night, I was still battling sinus issues. Had to move Tuesday’s run to Wednesday because of dizziness. Wednesday’s cross training will be moved to Friday (my rest day).
Would it be unreasonable to ask my doctor to put me in a coma until allergy season is over?
When do you need comfort food?
What is your comfort food?
