Is it just me or do you feel super behind on blogging on Mondays? I don’t feel caught up until Tuesday afternoons! I apologize for being MIA on most weekends, but I’m usually busy with family stuff. I definitely post on Instagram though!
Speaking of which, if you follow me on the IG, you know that last night I almost screwed up a perfectly delicious protein smoothie for today’s breakfast.
I reached into the fridge and grabbed what I thought were blueberries. Luckily I checked at the last second and realized they were black olives. I hate olives. Especially in smoothies.
This AM’s breakfast smoothie- RAW Organic protein powder, almond milk, chia seeds, blueberries, banana, and a splash of apple cider vinegar (helps to balance your pH and keep your body alkaline)
Anyways, Mondays are usually my non-running days. Yesterday I did my Love Your Legs and Booty (x3) workout from Tone It Up.
If you’ve never heard of TIU, it’s a wonderful exercise program/community aimed towards women. I love that it’s about overall health, no quick-fixes, living a healthy lifestyle, and girl power!
I was also going to add in a quick jog, but I talked myself out of it. I have to remember that non-running days are there for a reason…
I’m getting pretty pumped for Wednesday! After work, I meet up with Kyle and then we’re driving down to LA for our 5 year anniversary. We’ll be spending it at Disneyland 🙂

How have you accidentally screwed up food (or almost screwed up)? I also popped the shaker lid off of red pepper flakes and made some green beans completely inedible.
