Come on, I know I’m not the only one who does this. Here’s a recap of my life for the past few days.
Sunday was one of those, do-nothing-but-chill types of days. Went to see The Wolf of Wall Street with Kyle and his parents. Really good. Don’t watch it with your grandparents.
I wore my new favorite top from Victoria’s Secret that I got for Christmas. It’s now on sale if you’re interested. It’s a bit long for this short girl (5’1″) but I tucked the bottom under and it looks fine.
Monday, Kyle and I went for a hike on Mt. Diablo. They say on a clear day you can see the Sierra Nevada from it. It was pretty hazy when we went.
We pretended we were mountain goats and did some fake-parkour, and then did some actual hiking.
Kyle had decided to dress up very 90’s for our hike.
New Year’s Eve, I had no plans of running because I was pretty busy, but I decided I had to end the year with a short 5K.
After my run I quickly met up with Kyle and his family for pizza. Kyle also made me a drink, the Dutch Amy.
He was going to make me a Dutch Mule but he didn’t have any gin. So a Dutch Amy is a Dutch Mule with lime vodka instead of gin. Patent pending.
A guide to Amy’s facial expressions:
I hope it’s good cause that will be awkward if it sucks –> tasting –> oh wow. it’s really delicious!
The rest of our evening consisted of playing Loaded Questions (board game), and then Kyle and I watching Modern Family until 11:55 when we switched it over to Ryan Seacrest to watch the ball drop. A nap may have been thrown in there too.
Nothing wild and crazy for our NYE, but I loved
napping chilling with my guy.
On New Year’s Day, I went on a nice, slow, and easy 8 mile run. I wanted to run more, but I had a family party to get to.
My night ended with some TV watching and catching up on blogs. Oh and Skyler fell asleep while on hold with Petco.
I hope y’all had a wonderful start to 2014!
What’d you do for NYE?
Anyone run on 1/1/14?
