Get your mind out of the gutter. I meant this:
That’s right kids! My bib and d-tag came in the mail!! I was jumping around like a kid on Christmas.
I’m running the Berkeley Half with my BFF (who ran the San Jose RNR with me) and some friends from work. You bet your butt I was asking around on Friday if people got their bibs yet!
Friday at work was also our November social. It was actually called MOVEMBER social in honor of men’s health. It was really cute because the bar tenders were wearing fake mustaches, and so were their beverages.
Friday evening, Kyle took us to Pyramid Brewery for dinner. We’ve been to the actual brewery in Berkeley and went on a tour. But this time we just went to the restaurant and bar in Walnut Creek.
And now I’m off to go run my last long run before my half marathon on the 24th! And then let the tapering begin (aka stay the hell away from cranky-pants Amy).
After my run, I’ll meet up with Kyle for our Saturday morning bagels, and then we have a movie date 🙂
My company does a movie night once a year, where they buy out 1 screening room at a theatre and sell the tickets at a cheap price ($4 for employees, $6 for guests). AND actually this year we were also given a $5 voucher, so it really only cost me $5 for 2 people. Kind of unheard of these days.
This year is Thor 2!
Have a happy Saturday!
Have you ever participated in no-shave-November? Ladies, this question can be for you too. Hey if the men can do it, why can’t we? 😉
What’s the cheapest you were able to see a movie recently?
