Happy Saturday everyone!!
First, with some exciting (to me) news, I finally joined the 21st century and started an Instagram for my blog! You can click on the icon off to the right, or follow me at fitnessmeetsfrosting 🙂
So far my weekend is going well! Last night my dad took Kyle and me out to dinner. We were supposed to pick the place, so I asked Kyle earlier that day.
My dad ended up choosing The Brass Door, a local restaurant that has been around since 1946. Obviously I forgot to take photos (shocker) but I had a delicious “California Salad” (field greens, dried cranberries, walnuts, and grilled chicken).
After dinner, Kyle and I got frozen yogurt at Yogurt Shack
Mine was Snickerdoodle and Very Berry. Yumm.
This morning, Kyle surprised me by getting bagels at Bagel Street Cafe. I woke up and he was at my house. Gawww.
Then we had a relaxing day.
He offered to change my air purifier filters (I have chronic sinusitis so we have a bunch of them around the house), while I went on my short 3 mile run.
Success folks! My first 3 mile run since my half marathon! My ankle felt a little stiff but didn’t really hurt. It’s a little sore right now so I’m going to ice.
After my run we kind of just chilled at my house. It was nice to just relax.
