I’m super busy getting ready for a fun weekend! The best kind of busy!
On Sunday, Kyle’s family will be hosting a pre-holiday dinner. Kyle’s sister Ashley is in town (she lives in NY) for a wedding, so they thought it would be fun to have a fake Thanksgiving-type get together. Turkey will not be served, only the spirit of the holiday will be replicated!
I will be making pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. That by itself isn’t a lot of work, but Kyle’s birthday is on Monday! I want to plan the meal ahead and do any prep work that I can this weekend.
Today at work, our department took my friend Paulina out to lunch. It was her last day 😦
We parked in the parking lot, and as we got out of my car, another car pulled in to park next to me. I almost freaked out.
Whenever someone parks like this next to you- take a photo of their license plate and how they were parked. If they hit your car and run, you have some proof. Not sure how well this will work with insurance companies, but it’s better than nothing. I got this tip from Kyle.
I wish I could make stickers that say “learn to park” and stick them on people’s cars. Not that I actually have the guts to ever do that, but it’s great in theory. 😉
I think the guy saw how horribly he parked and me taking photos of the pre-crime scene, because he got back in his car and corrected it. I was holding my breath the whole time. My co-workers just about had to carry me to the restaurant because I wanted to watch him move his car. Yes, I am the type who parks 314 miles away from the store, just to get an end spot or avoid bad parking jobs. i never exaggerate.
Wish me luck- I’m hoping my shin will allow me to run my 10 miles tomorrow!
What do you do about bad parkers?
Anyone have a long run scheduled this weekend?
