Steals and Deals

Happy Friday everyone! The only thing I have planned for the weekend is running, so hopefully I can find something else that’s fun to do. Anyone have any good weekend plans?

Ran 3 miles, nice and easy. Tomorrow I am supposed to run a 5K race so I took it slow today. And I’m not actually running in a race because I am too cheap to pay for a 5K. I’ve ran in a bunch before, so this isn’t about getting used to the racing environment. It will be about seeing how fast (or slow) I can run.

This morning’s breakfast: organic fresh mango (I usually use frozen but it was on sale), organic NF Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and organic granola.

Looks disgusting, tastes amazing

One of the blogs I love to read is Skinny Chick Blog. She’s adorable and funny and sarcastic so I pretend we’re BFF’s. She has a giveaway right now where you can win a copy of Heart And Sole 26.2 how 26 ran their first marathon (and you can too). I think this book looks really interesting. I’m tired of hearing about these super-human athletes who run marathons in the same amount of time it would take me to drive a marathon- so this book looks inspiring. Go check it out!

PROCompression: 40% off and free (US) shipping on their Sock of the Month (SOM) and visors. Enter SWRL at checkout. Ends 8/31.

Steep and Cheap: They have a lot of gear on sale right now (Kyle’s mom informed me). Here’s some of the women’s clothing. I purchased these 2 tee’s that will hopefully be good for running!

$11.99 = amazeballs deal

Check back tomorrow to see how I do on my fake 5K race!
