Monday Meringues and Lulu Shorts

Cross-training day- walk on the treadmill. I would have done a bigger workout but I got home late and had a lot of stuff to do.

Look what my coworker brought me, she’s the sweetest:

They're fat free. So that means I can eat more, right? ;)

I love meringues- I actually haven’t had one, probably since elementary school. She knows I don’t really like chocolate (*insert gasp*) and wanted to give me something for successfully completing this project that had been giving everyone trouble. cutie patootie.

I think I’ll be making some different desserts using these meringues…or just eating them straight from the box…

Just out of curiosity, have any of you tried the Lululemon Groovy Run Short? Or have you heard anything about them?

I like the sound of them (taken from the Lululemon website):

  • cut generously in the leg to allow for maximum moveability
  • wide, flat Luxtreme waistband is wide by design to sit smoothly on your waist
  • the continuous drawcord won’t come out in the wash
  • moisture-wicking fabrics pull sweat away from your body
  • stow your stuff in the back zipper pocket and two waistband pockets
  • chafe-resistant flat seams won’t rub you the wrong way
  • stretchy, built-in liner is configured to stay put
I like the plain black

I like that it says they were designed for women with athletic thighs and they have a wide waist band. I don’t have gigantic thighs, but they are on the “athletic” side for my size. Also, I find wide waist bands are more comfortable.

I’m thinking of trying these out at some point, but I like to get as many reviews as possible before spending $54 on a pair of shorts (I also read the website reviews)! On a few of the other blogs I read, they lovvvve their Lulu shorts…

I picked probably the 2 most boring pairs, but my thought is that, if I’m going to spend that much on a pair of shorts, they better be versatile and match with everything!

Another random question- Do you hold your breath if someone coughs/sneezes right next to you?

I was walking in the hallway at work and some lady coughed right in front of me (walking towards me). I held my breath as I walked by and I realized I do this a lot. Not weird if you are by yourself, but awkward if you are with others and mid-sentence…I doubt my breath holding does anything to escape the germs, but it makes me feel better.
