Walked fast-paced on the treadmill for 35 min.
Yesterday was supposed to be a 4 mile run but my back didn’t feel right. By now, I know when I should NOT run because it will cause back pain later. I will move my 4 mile run to Sunday and treat this treadmill “workout” as my usual Sunday cross-training- but I will play it by ear. It’s important to stick to a training schedule, but not at the risk of injury.
Yesterday was an emotional day. I woke up and when I went to feed my cats, my older cat had just thrown up. Her vomit appeared to contain blood, which was obviously cause for concern. I drove to work, called the vet once they opened, came home and took my cat to the vet, and left her there to be examined/monitored. Long story short, she’s fine! yayyyy.
Does anyone else experience this? Whenever I make my bed, my cat has to jump on the bed and hide under each layer as I put it on. I don’t have the heart to kick her out of my room while I make my bed though…
Anyways, back to her story- She had been coughing up a lot of hairballs recently, so the vet thinks her throat was just irritated. She gets Vaseline (which she loves) and chicken broth/clam juice (helps with dehydration from the vomiting) for the next few days.
I texted this to my sister saying, “I really like to clean my butt in your sink.” Hopefully she knew I meant Snickers- I don’t actually like to clean my butt in her sink, it’s just more convenient. jk.
The other day I purchased this shirt for Kyle.
I got a deal from HungryRunnerGirl and thought Kyle would think it was funny. It was supposed to be a surprise, but I am really bad at keeping presents a secret. I bought the shirt in the AM and told myself that I wouldn’t say anything until it actually arrived in the mail and I was ready to give it to him. He knew early afternoon that I had a surprise for him. He knew what it was by 9 PM. #fail
